It was nice comfy base for travelling to Exeter, I was glad to stay there.

In general, it’s characterful base for staying in Exeter. The venue has magnificent and particularly good setting close to all amenities.

Great Location and Amenities

The apartment was in a prime location, making it easy to explore the city and visit all the attractions. It was conveniently situated near the cathedral and the town center, which made it very accessible for shopping and dining. the apartment had all the necessary amenities, including a well-stocked kitchen with plenty of cooking utensils and crockery. This allowed us to prepare our own meals and save on eating out all the time.

the sofa bed was uncomfortable and lacked bedding, requiring us to search for and make our own. the duvet and pillows provided were also old and had a musky smell.

This apartment was so cozy and comfortable. The bedroom had a relaxing vibe and the bed was just perfect for a good night's sleep. As a tired bike rider, I couldn't ask for more!

The only thing I didn't love was the lack of a dishwasher. But hey, washing a few dishes by hand isn't the end of the world!

Free parking! And they even had WiFi, although it probably wasn't fast enough for my imaginary pet sloth to stream his favorite videos. Oh well.

The complimentary rock climbing wall in my room was a bit unnecessary. Who needs exercise when you're on vacation, right?

The Southernhay Court Apartments provided excellent value for money with their modern, stylish, and clean rooms. The location was unbeatable, just a two-minute walk from shops, restaurants, and the stunning cathedral. The staff was friendly and accommodating, ensuring a pleasant stay.

The only thing that could have improved the breakfast selection would be more variety in the menu.

We loved the central location, just steps away from the Exeter Chamber of Commerce and Industry. The kids had a blast exploring the city and we even found time to go hiking and canoeing in the beautiful surroundings. The fitness center on the property was an added bonus, allowing us to stay active during our stay. We also appreciated the fact that we had the whole place to ourselves, making it a comfortable and private experience for our family.

In my wife's opinion, it would be great if there were more child-friendly amenities available for families staying at Southernhay Court Apartments. Perhaps some games or toys provided in the apartment would have kept the kids entertained during downtime.

Beach access was just the cherry on top. Plus, the fact that there were no pets allowed and the 24-hour reception ensured a peaceful and hassle-free stay. Absolutely no smoking on site made the experience even more enjoyable.
